June 2026

                                                               June 2026

Wow!  What an amazing "175" Celebration"!  My thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make it a time to remember.  I am so thankful for those who have gone before us, for those who are serving today and for those who will serve in the future!  I really believe that New Bethlehem Baptist Church has a bright future!  "Miss Denise" and I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the dedication of the Cookbook's for our twenty-six years of service at New Bethlehem.  We have some amazing cooks and I look forward to trying out all the recipes (especially the ones submitted by the children!)
I was recently reminded that the greatest responsibility of the church is for believers to be close to God and to tell others about His Amazing Grace!  It is so easy to get caught up in busyness and lose sight of the main thing!  When we are close to the Lord, He will give us opportunities to share this love with others!
It's Vacation Bible School time at New Bethlehem.  We will kick off VBS on Sunday morning, May 31st and go thru Wednesday, June 3rd.  Our theme this year is "Illumination Station" based on John 8:12; "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life!"  It is my prayer that we will make the light of Jesus known to the world and that they will put their faith in the Lord.  Lifeway reports that 70,000 salvation decisions were reported as a direct result of VBS.  VBS consistently accounts for approximately 25 percent of all baptisms in Southern Baptist Churches.  So you can see how important VBS really is.  Please pray for us during VBS and if possible, why not help out!
The month of June will be a very important time in the Life of New Bethlehem Baptist Church.  There will be some important studies concerning our By-Laws and Constitution and some important decisions about future leadership.  Please make this a season of prayer as we seek the heart and mind of the Lord!
Miss Denise and I love you all and it our Joy to serve along side with You!

                                                           Sincerely in His Service,
                                                                      Bro. John
